You need to move your wive's foot forward by using Extensions with BOARDS OR PEGS and or remove the current chrome cover and move the pillion pegs forward to the frame mounting hole a few inches forward.

I was trying to keep my chrome covers.

You can you just need to drill a hole for the pillion peg bolt. Neat and easy. You may need to shim the gap between frame bracket and chrome cover with washers or a nut and washers so it does not dimple when peg bolt tightened.

When i ordered (long time ago) they did not send the spacer to move it out had to make one. Just came with two extenders if u want spacers then u have to order the rear floorboards with spacers.

Are you referring to the RIVCO version with RIVCO footboards?

The cam shaped spacer with the locator pins does only come with RIVCO footboard kits and not just the 'Relocation / extension'.

I just bought the extensions and had to make the adaptors.

Those little push in locator pins can go missing too.
I made up a missing cam spacer and used the metal pins removed from some shelving adjustment pins...........smash with hammer, remove nicely end tapered pins.... voila.. fitted perfectly first time, right length too, no cutting!
