Anyone installed the OEM wind screen on their R? Did it make a significant difference or just direct the wind from body to helmet and cause buffeting? And did you think it "ruined" the naked look of the bike?
I'm 5 11 or 6', depending who's asking:), and trying to figure out whether it's worth...
Hello all! I haven't owned a bike in a decade or so, kids and work and such. Just bought a 2007 Rocket 3 Classic this week and hope to enjoy a few warm days before the harsh winter sets in.
I thought I would add this here as a separate thread for those interested that aren't following the clutch issues thread. I spoke with Triumph and here's how they explain things with the R 3;
"Traction Control works with the computers that are looking at wheel speed, one the wheel speed is...

I've been out and about looking for a bike to replace my highly modified, very off road worthy but not so highway worthy 650 KLR. I realized while riding the KLR on an especially challenging and very steep dirt/gravel road that serious off road riding has passed me by as I struggled to keep it...
Hi all, Just getting settled with the R3 GT. Crusing the forum to find info and see what others know. Love to find a service manual for the bike as I try to do most maintenance stuff myself. See ya round the traps - (speed traps??)
Here's a pretty funny and accurate review of our bike from the boys at Top Gear.

Bet bit:
What’s it like to ride?
Intimidating at first, mainly because there’s so much of it. The fuel tank is the size of a Barbadian twerking champion...
DELETED as I do not want to mislead anyone.
This is the correct R3 cam chain. I think the other model Triumphs may use a smaller chain in link number. I would disregard all sources that suggest they are interchangeable...
Finally made the jump over and traded in my Suzuki m109r for a 2020 rocket 3 gt yesterday. Just got insurance today and am going to hit the roads tomorrow!

Fit like a glove; Look Amazing. There are 2 versions, the blacked-out and the chrome one. I put chrome ones. The blacked-outs make the bike look kinda blind with too dark front fascia. Performance-wise, the difference is huge with crystal visibility for at least 200m!
DGR 2020
from the website :
"We will still be riding this year on Sunday the 27th of September, however, it will look a little different to what we're used to. It has been a difficult year, but the show must go on!
The 2020 ride will be a solo event to comply with all local social distancing...
