how about that
just found out this morning as I am getting a new rear tire on the back wheel..exedra max naturally
my manual show torque in NM so I translated the NM in foot/lbs and found out my rocket has 268.45 newton/meters of torque .
so when my eyeballs go flat that's close to...
Reinstalling rear wheel speed sensor disc. Had red loctite on it. Anyone know the torque setting on these little bolts?
Also, torque for final drive flange ("driven flange" in the manual - the gear on wheel that mounts to hub). Blue loctite there....
I couldn't find anything in a search
Many...
Wondering how to achieve smoother lower end torque, I'm lazy at times and don't want to necesarily down shift in slow moving areas of road.
My set up is pretty basic currently, Ram Air, Dave Platt link pipe and stock mufflers. I have tried the TORs but the drone kills my ears even with ear...
So, I'm still building out my R3T exactly how I want it, and seeking a bit more performance. Right now, I upgraded to a Dain 3-to-1 slip-on, PCV (no dyno tuners using TuneECU), and a RamAir kit. Right now I dyno'd 145hp, 151ft/lbs, not bad considering it's at the wheel and minimal upgrades, but...
Mounting the 50mm crash bars, need the torque setting for the large bolt that is on top of the engine, don't know what it's called. 10 inches long or so, goes from one side of the engine to the other, when I look it up in the manuel it says 'see text' can't find it in text.
Thanks

Is it possible to remove the back torque limiter without removing the engine from the frame because i have what appears to be a lot of backlash in my transmission. sounds like metallic knocking on open and shutting throttle.
Finally got my date with the dyno .
Restrictions removed , secondarys opened 100% and fueling sorted . First gear is now crisp and sharp off the throttle with wheelspin and second is long and powerful . The bike now pulls like an express train up to the increased limiter with no more clattering...
Hi guys .
My 2010 roadster has ramair filter , pcv , Tor pipes , link pipe and map .fast but first gear and half of second are almost obsolete . Hill starts are a challenge due to the gutless response below red line .
Embarrassing when you can't out drag a moped ! Would refitting the baffle box...
Ok here is what I know so far. I love cool techi things so I went online and found a v-gate obd2 adapter
and purchased it. ( like 21 bucks ) I also downloaded a app called torque pro. they have a free version
but I bought the full version for like 5 bucks. (droid phone) So I plugged the...
Hello everyone! I use one of those 25 dollar OBDII Bluetooth readers on Amazon on both of my cars. In conjunction with the Torque Pro app (HIGHLY recommend), I can monitor any information the ECU/sensors are sending. Well I figured I'd hook it up to the Rocket and low and behold, I was receiving...
I removed the rear wheel today and dropped it off at the dealer to change the tire. Reading the manual, it calls for replacing the torque reaction bolt (step 9). Searching through the forum, it seems like not everyone does this. Thoughts?
So I've owned my '05 now for one year, I have enjoyed the power on the back roads alone although I have never really toyed with any other riders until yesterday. I was riding to work minding my own business cruising at about 80 mph when I see a sport bike coming up behind me in my mirror. He...
Can someone explain to me the differences between the HP/Torque figures quoted in Triumph's marketing literature vs the dyno figures for stock Rockets?
By way of example, Triumph market the Rocket Roadster as putting out 109kW (146 HP) @ 5750 and 221 Nm (163 ft-lbs) @ 2750. I've googled-up some...
I've been reading posts and trying to get ready for a winter project, but wish there was a central place to see others performance mods and dyno sheets in one place. This would make comparisons easier for us and give you guys a chance to show off some. Mostly money spent relates directly to...
Hi all
Just put my rock3t on a rolling road for a power run
It's a new 2014 model roadster with 6,700 miles on the clock
The only mods are TOR cans and the Triumph re-map
The results were 124.86bhp and 146.52 max torque
All comment/observations welcomed
Good morning all,
Quick question. I have been reading as much as i can find lately on the RU-2780 triple filters and a few times i have read that there is torque loss in the lower RPM (<3500 i think). I have noticed the loss in torque (3x 2780's + Tors). I know the stock header is a limiting...
