Went to start the old girl the other day and she wouldn't make a sound. Gauge lights lit up but wouldn't turn over. Turned ignition off a couple of times and she fired right up. Drove about a mile and noticed the engine light on. Pulled over and checked everything, Bike still running like a...
I'm considering the 6-103 ignition module for the PCV. I was under the impression that the new PCV could do ignition mapping, but that apparently is only for the twins (after reading the fine print).:(:(
At this point I don't know if the benefits would justify the additional $360 for the...

Haven't had an issue as yet but am building an emergency kit for long trips.
Seems that there are only a few things that can leave you on the side of the road going nowhere that either you couldn't fix at the time cos you didn't know how, or have the bits.
A punctured tyre is the most...
For those who have suffered the infamous ignition switch failure and decided to do the repair yourself, be advised that the plug and wire color mappings have changed with the new generation switch. Although the new switch comes with an adapter plug, you still need to know the color mappings...

Put new exhaust on, triple K&N's, PC5 and auto tune, and adjusted secondary throttles full open. Not sure how to adjust timing in tuneECU to match 5th gear. Only option is I1, I2, I3, & I(N). Please let me know, I assumed the # represented the gear.
