I've a pair of Jardine Headers that, shamefully, rusted under a tarp in a scorching hot shed for several years.
What is the best working and appearing header wrap, in lieu of re-chroming? Perhaps in time re-chroming will be re-considered.

Why are there no true equal length headers built for the R3? I think it's because everyone builds for looks, not performance. A true equal length, 35 degree system has been proposed by my builder... stay tuned.

I can't believe that I'm already looking into performance options, while I have yet to buy the bike.
Anyway, looking at the header pipe on the rocket, it does not strike me as designed for performance. (I'm also confident that the bike does not really need an increase in performance)...
