    Transmission issue

    Do you know the year when/if the update kit is fitted at the factory as standard. Is it model specific? I don't have a R3 yet. Just doing some background before I jump in and I want to be fully clued up first.

    Not sure which model as yet. Not even sure how many different ones there are! I've been advised to avoid the pre 2010 models, but I wasn't informed as to why!! I'm spanner handy, so nothing much freaks me out. Man built it, man can fix it.

    Hi everyone. Newbie from the UK here. I confess I don't have a R3 at the moment, but I thought I'd join here to research the bike from the people who ride them and not dealers who sell them. I'll be snooping around, picking up pros and cons, ready to use the info when I go looking for a bike...
