    Thanks! Yeah, the battery is new and the lights very bright. No dimming when hitting the start button. All indications were the switch was bad. It's like the signal isn't getting to the starter. I wonder... the switch must go to a relay to send juice to the starter. I'll check starter...

    This is interesting. My bike would never start if the clutch was held in. It has to be released and in neutral to start.

    Won't start. (Always has.) Key turned, in neutral, kill switch on, kick stand up, lights bright, system check, all good. Press the start switch....nothing. I tested the switch with multimeter and it functions perfectly when checking continuity. Thoughts? (Also, I am looking for an...

    Yeah, the VTX just sits a bit lower (ass to axle). I'll keep playin'. I'm a design engineer, so the torch might have to come out! I did strongly consider the Boss, but my marriage is too good to drop that kind of scratch! Thanks,

    Just got my R3 Touring. Bought in from out of state. Was hoping that it might fit better than my VTX1800R. Like my 1800, I've put handle bar risers which bring the bar higher and closer, but I put them on backwards pushing them out. That helps. I've also gone with extended hi way pegs...
