    Repacking the predator

...the less non-contributing members comments in this thread  hopefully the following will be helpful for others; and their Predator SuperTrapp. I have addressed the issue with my SuperTrapp packing; hanging off of my Predator Exhaust (made by Sam). I have been so preoccupied with...

    new night rod

...these since 2007 and still think it is a special bike, just not as special as my Rocket. I dont take it on super long rides. I put some Supertrapp pipes on it 2 years ago and love the sound. I wish it were simple to get rid of the passenger seat- there is some essential junk underneath it...

    Retrofitting Slip Ons (Exhaust Mod)

What about Supertrapp slip-ons , Gothlanders running one on his Perfect Storms. Probably what I'll go for when I get new headers. Don't look anything flash but Supertrapps do perform.

    Repacking the predator

...my ass. I can't get the frikken core to come out. :pullhairout: I've taken out the two alignment allen screws from the outside of the SuperTrapp, and have been using a 14" long bolt; trying to catch the interior lip of the core itself; and trying to pound it out. SuperTrapp's website is...

    Jardines Bung Plug

...size of bolt is needed to plug up the hole from the O2 sensor on my gently used Jardines Exhaust System. I have contacted Jardines via SuperTrapp, to which I was told it is a 18 mm bolt. Shaking my head, I proceed to "Bolts Plus" and they show me a 18 mm bolt that is so big it belongs in...

    Crappy Gas Mileage Part 2

...part because of some new developments. Top start with I believe most of my problems/bugs are from the mods I have made. Tors exhaust ( supertrapp muffler), triple K&N air filters, plus a modified map. This being said I believe that some consideration has to be given to the spark plug...
  7. Tune question

Good day. I have a 2005 rocket. I am thinking about getting the ramair filter. I will be getting the Jardine/supertrapp slashcut exhaust onto my bike in a few months. From what I have heard they are still going to make the exhaust as there are 25 orders outstanding.(just waiting and waiting...

Bummer...I was told that Supertrapp was going to work on reproducing the Jars and they "might" be available in eight weeks. I cancelled the order. Carpenter's are on my list.

  10. Found..Jardine Exhausts..New!

Just got it strraight from the horses mouth. I e-mailed Supertrapp and asked them if and when they were ever going to start manufacturing the Jardine 3:1:2 exhaust sytems for the R3 standard/classic. The responce I received was that they are not currently in production and there is no date to...

    Found..Jardine Exhausts..New!

My Jar Mufflers are showing some wear after 4 years of use and I have searched like crazy for a replacement set. Jardine was bought out by Supertrapp some time ago but I finally found a dealer in Florida who says he can get them. Delivery should be end of February. I've order a set and will post...

    Jardine Opinions

...with company months ago and the guy admitted that they didn't even have the tooling for them. Apparently it got lost in the sale to SuperTrapp. That being said, I bought a gently used set from our DV8 friend in Australia and had them shipped here. Haven't got them on the bike yet, although...

    Exhaust manifold design program

Thanks. I sure hope the upside down version don't have the exhaust facing forward too. LOL! That would be great. Because something needs to let her breath. She's got plenty of power, but nothing like I'm hearing some of you hooligans talk about. I'll have to check into that...

    Exhaust manifold design program

Hey Steel, Ric at Reband quoted me $850AUD for just the bare header system. That's no mounts for the heatshields or ceramic coating. That is a bare metal finish. Maybe add a Supertrapp as Travelguy did with his systems. Just a thought Steel as postage to the States is expensive.
  15. 2013 + Jardine?

...and spoke with Bruce at customer service for Super Trapp. Some of yall may know this but for those who dont, here's what I learned. SuperTrapp bought Jardine several months back thus the Jardine/SuperTrapp R&D Deptartment has been temporarily dismanteled trying to get everything moved...

    Cancelled my order

    Powder Coating

...to send to you, they are NOT currently available. I placed an order a month ago (and others have been waiting longer) and finally called Supertrapp (now owner of Jardine exhaust) to ask when they would be shipping. I was told that when they bought Jardine and moved manufacture from Cali to...

    Reroute standard exhaust

Since my last post I have fitted a 1 3/4" Supertrapp universal and to fit it to the stock header I made up a "S" bend from two 90 degree 1 7/8" mandrel bends, this brings the header outlet to the correct position to fit up the Supertrapp. You will also need to weld in a small piece of 1 3/4" to...
  20. Reroute standard exhaust

...perhaps the rocket III headers route the exhaust to a single outlet. i've been trying to come up with a method of connecting a single supertrapp on the right side of my R III classic. it'd sure get rid of any cats and a lot of weight, and 3 into 1 exhaust systems seem really efficient...
