  1. Is the rocket a dangerous/unforgiving bike?

Yes, I have the R in mind. I'm not a fan of forward controls just yet. I have some lower back problems as well
  2. Is the rocket a dangerous/unforgiving bike?

Thanks for understanding me and for the willingness to share your ride, it means a lot  I've spent a lot of time researching this bike and I'll get one eventually :)
  3. Is the rocket a dangerous/unforgiving bike?

As an european I can confirm that it's accustom here to start with smaller weaker bikes, but that doesn't mean you can't get anything you want like I did when I passed the course despite all the recommendations, I chose a 600cc 98hp naked and I've been riding it the past 2 years. Sure it was...
  4. Is the rocket a dangerous/unforgiving bike?

Thanks for the encouragement! I'll put the time to improve my skills as much as possible before getting one, at least I'll be in a better position to handle this powerful bike when I do :) Ride safe!
  5. Is the rocket a dangerous/unforgiving bike?

I have only 2 years experience mostly commuting and I wish I had started sooner :) I arrived to this choice searching for a bigger more comfortable bike because I'm pretty tall and I don't really like adventure/enduro bikes nor cruisers (not yet at least) and I want a riding position where I...
  6. Is the rocket a dangerous/unforgiving bike?

Yes, it is a bit concerning that it's much heavier than my current bike and that there are no viable options for mounting crash bars/drop protections. I may wait a bit more before I get one, meanwhile I'll practice more and do some advanced courses to improve my skills. Thanks!
  7. Is the rocket a dangerous/unforgiving bike?

I know most accidents are direct consequences of reckless behavior or plain ignoring of basic rules of riding/driving and giving that I wear full protective gear (tough sometimes I choose normal pants like jeans or cargo while riding in the city), I don't drink, I always keep my distance and I...
  8. Is the rocket a dangerous/unforgiving bike?

Yes, I like it a lot. But at the same time I'm trying to do my research before getting it. I'm always mindful on my behavior while I'm riding and I don't do stupid things :) Unfortunately I don't have any opportunity for a test ride, as the only dealer in the country doesn't provide one and I...

I guess I have to :D I know there is nothing like it!

  11. Is the rocket a dangerous/unforgiving bike?

Hi guys. I'm very curious about something and I hope you can help me form a clearer picture. I want to get a '23 Rocket R for myself, I really like the bike. Not to mention that it is one of the few options I have as a tall rider (6'2) not taking into consideration the enduro/adventure bikes...
  12. It's R3 R a good option as a second bike?

    Most likely :)
  13. It's R3 R a good option as a second bike?

I do have a dealer in the city and they usually have one or two rockets for sale, but none available for a test ride unfortunately
  14. It's R3 R a good option as a second bike?

😂 Yes, you're right! I'm thinking about it more now and I don't even have it yet. But I do a lot of heavy traffic filtering so I guess I'll still need my gsr or something similar. Thanks
  15. It's R3 R a good option as a second bike?

All the advices are deeply appreciated. Thanks
  16. It's R3 R a good option as a second bike?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I know I have a lot to learn and I'm trying to improve everyday, but I think I do ok at lower speeds because most of my trips require lots of filtering through heavy traffic. I will enlist into an advanced skills course next spring as well.
  17. It's R3 R a good option as a second bike?

There is someone here that got a rocket with limited riding experience like I'm about to? Any advice would be much appreciated

  19. It's R3 R a good option as a second bike?

Hello fellow riders, I joined this forum to get in touch with R3 owners as in my country (Romania) there are only few bikes of this kind, the dealership doesn't have one available ever to test ride and the one I want is in another country. What I'm trying to find is if this could be a good...
