    Firestone used to offer lifetime batteries. Think I was on my 5th one when my car was totaled. Even after they stopped offering them they honored original warranty. Don't think they realized how long some of us cheapskates kept a car.

    They are factory but not original equipment. TORs were sold by Triumph but you had to buy them separate from the bike.

    On the Touring the cats are in the muflers, TORs don't have cats in them so since they deleted the cats they aren't street legal.

    Than it's a Tourer not a Touring. Completely different bikes. Touring has hard bags not leather and seat bolts on. Difference is important when ordering parts as very few interchange.

    Colorado has a large cycling community, be prepared to find them in your way on mountain roads. Lots of the mountain roads have no or minimal shoulders so they are in the lane.

    Gear position switch

    The gear position sensor is on left lower back of engine. I think some early ones had a spring loaded ball bearing that could come out. But if back off bolts slowly won't be a problem. Clean it good and reinstall
