    Hi...Need some help here. Just came back from a evening ride with 30 other Triumphs..When we were passing true a little town in slow speed the bike just died on me... all lights went off except the oil lamp an the motor was stone dead...just before it happend it had some problems taken low...

    Thanx for all your answers. My conclusion is that it's quite normal for a triple. The funny thing is that when I was out riding yesterday, the vibrations in the 3900 rpm area was suddenly gone ! Well dont want to get all grey hairy worrying over things that are maybe normal...gotta go out riding...

    Thanx for your answer. I'ts not because I exactly do "grand dad driving" my self ! But I can feel the vibrations every time I pass 3200 and 3900 rpm in an acceleration.

    You properly laugh but this is the way I did it. Did'nt want to lift under the catbox either. So I invented a Gyro Gearloos sytem with some weights to keep the frontwheel down. Not a pretty seigth, but i works :lol: :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

    Adjustet the clutch to a precise 2 mm gab. Problem solved. No more slipping. The clutch gab was adjustet wrong. No gab at all. Thanx again :D

    My clutch started to slip the other day :twisted: But until now only in 5th gear.     The tyre dealer told me today, that the tyre was disappeared some where in Germany!?! (It was ordered from Germany) and if he didnt get it today he wouldt ask them to send him a new one by express. So with a little luck a have my tyre first next week.
