I think it's best to focus on what you like about a bike. A negative attitude will ruin your enjoyment of the purchase.
On the other hand you can spend the money to correct all the perceived deficiencies and be completely satisfied. It's going to cost plenty.

I would not regularly start using 3rd gear. I like shifting so I use them all and depending on moods will shift early for lazy cruise or near rev limiter for thrills. I think the motor likes to be above 2k for best operation.
I could not list that many things that I “ hate” on any bike I own. If I did I’d be selling very soon. Bikes are like tools, each with its own specific application.
