Removing Backrest from GT

I am picking up a 2025 GT on Friday. I had an R but traded it last year and regretted it, so I’m correcting that mistake. I am getting the GT for the extended handlebars, forward controls, and windscreen, but I always ride solo so I’d like to remove the backrest. I found instructions for removing it, but I haven’t found a source for the two filler parts that cover the holes left in the rear after removing the backrest. Do any of you know where I can find that part?

I don't think the in-fill pieces are an 'accessory part' so either ebay could be the first port of call, then after that, I think contact your local main dealer and ask about replacement spare parts....could be costly, but like I said, ebay might deliver a result at a more acceptable price.

I talked to a dealer today. There are five parts that you need to replace the backrest. $300. But they have to come from the dealer apparently. Pretty simple swap. I may not do it for a while, but it will be nice to have the option.
