RamAir filter for Touring model ?

Hey gearbox where did u get it dynoed n do u hav a aftermarket computer or anything on it aswell

@ the local dyno shop. There will be plenty in Newcastle. I was thinking of putting PCV & AT on because after the tune I was only getting about 220 -240kms out of a tank. I called him and asked about fitting both, he said no need to, he just leaned it up a bit in the cruising range and all's good now, 300+ no loss of power. Like a lot of other guys have said, if you have a good tuner nearby you don't need anything to override the tune.
He uses Tuneboy and is passionate about his craft, I think if you started telling him what to do he'd charge double.

Ramair, Cat Bypass, TOR Pipes, Tuneboy & Dyno that's it on my bike.

Hey Gearbox. I have to ask, were you able to fit the bearclaw back onto it's mounting
points after installing the RamAir kit?

Not real happy with it so far....
Hey DRMD421, was this due to damage during shipping? That couldn't be what they (RamAir) would consider acceptable. Have you contacted them regarding the mess that that filter is? Please keep us posted on how RamAir handled this. That's not acceptable on any level. Especially considering what this filter system is costing (around $175 +/-). Hopefully they replace it without too much red tape nonsense.

Filter looked great when I got it. I saw here somewhere that someone had trouble keeping theirs attached so I slowly went clamp by clamp making sure each filter seated completely. They popped off 10 minutes into thetune. I reinstalled them and tightened the clamps a little tighter and they popped off again looking like this. The rubber is kinda flimsy on the boot section. I made sure the clamps were all the way down.
