Sorry not cost effective to run 2 pipes. I can make it shorter not a problem. That is just the length the megaphone came in. I mount and dismount from either side i don't keep track. Idk67 how much can the flash be got for or do you guys have hacked codes like i do for other bikes.
Actually do like the sound once she's moving just not sure about the volume. How tightly wrapped is the baffle? Could it be repacked to be quieter by a bit or an internally longer baffle used?
I too will give you an "A" for effort.. i never really cared for loud pipes on bikes that can go over 140 mph it doesn't make sence to me. To each his own but i have searched out pipes for my roadking and found Bassani's to be the best sounding IMO. Did you ever think of adapting a Bassani exhaust to the Rocket i bet that would sound pretty good..
I followed one of Dain's slip-ons today that happened to be mounted on a new, 2014 Roadster owned by dmaint67 (Dave), who hails from NE Philly. Personally I like the sound of it better than stock, Dain's build quality is top notch, Dave's bike runs like the proverbial raped ape and he is far from a dainty man.
From what I saw and heard, Dain, you not only earned that "A" grade, you are offering folks a fantastic option that's also an outrageous value!
Thanks Phil, all the parts I make for any bike, I make as if its for my own bike. I try my best to cut cost to help my buyers. But not cut quality. I can make the pipes up to 4 inches shorter, and thats what Dave got. I have them on ebay for $250 but can offer them here for $230 shipping included to the cont. US. Just PM me with a phone number and I will call you to answer all your Q's and how to pay.
