Yamaha RD 350 Project

As some of you know I have this ancient little smoker that's been languishing in the back of my shop for years. I finally decided to do something with it and took it to Chop Shop in Keller for a reconstruction. They got it back together and called to tell me something (phone ID) and today I found out the oil sight glass is leaking, badly. So I ordered a NOS sightglass and it's supposed to be here no later than December 14th, Merry Christmas to me. I could have gotten one from the U.K. but thought this would be faster. I was wrong. Anyway the bike is ready for a test fire once the oil glass is replaced. Not bad since they've had it since April......

ahhhhhh, remembering the power band. Hold on tight! Yes, I once had a 350, and a 250, yammi's. Expansion chambers, ports opened up, piston skirt trimmed on intake side, on and on.... "screamers"
