Woodenbong Ride - Oct 13th

It was great catching up with Big Marty and Cathy on this ride.
I must say I LIKE the Storm that Cathy was riding I think it really suits her.
Glad you all could make it.
 
I know I shouldn't say this but today is the day if you want, you can go hooning around the place as all the police from what I've seen this morning have been parked at the club houses . I went to visit a couple of mates and just kept riding when I noticed the police prescense at both club houses i made a few calls and met up at the tumbulgen pub ,surprise surprise just over the border
 
Just got home from a weekend at Nimbin.. hired a little shack out in the bush , was great. Lobbed into Nimbin and there were 26 Triumph 1600 Thunderbirds in the main street. All members of a Forum like us , bikes from VIC , ACT , SA , everywhere. Went out and visited the commune at Tuntable Falls .. 40th anniversary so they were letting people have a bit of a squiz. Found out the original people that set it up weren't the filthy , lazy f#ckwit cone smoking dingbats that came later, looked liked seriously hard work back in 1973. Spent this morning quad bike riding in the Numinbah Valley .. Catherine loved the quad and rode it really well. Great weekend away.

Kind of sad remembering tear arsing through those same roads on the Odin's Warriors rides... and knowing they will probably never happen again the way things are going.
 
Yes no more poker runs, tattoo shows in Unwin st and even though they petered out 10 or 12 years ago Purga and Aratula.

Sent Gonzo (RIII rider) a text with my condolences the other day .. those blokes don't deserve to be 'lumped in' with the ones causing all the drama. Got the impression the "fat lady hasn't sung yet" .. really hope some sanity returns but I really doubt it. That little runt Newman won't be content till he can strut around telling everyone he "beat the bikies" .. short man syndrome at it's worst !!!

Good to hear Catherine enjoyed the quad. I had one on my farm and loved it.

Appeared to be a more orderly and better presented bunch than the Rocket riders that I associate with anyway. We both thought they looked a bit 'straight' to be honest.

Yeah I think most tbird riders are gay mate lol they cant handle the mighty rocket
