Hello

I just make first run 320 km in my new suspension

rear: Wilbers 630 TS Competition and front Wilbers progressiv fork springs

http://www.motorcycle-suspension.com/wilbers_shock_absorber/type_630_ts/index.html

Fast corners it is wery good . but in normal driving it is wery hard. my weight is 85 kg and tires is Pirelli diablo and BST rims..

Bike stop woples in fast cornerin. ( that is my priority to new suspension)

and rebound damping. is wery good, Front is really nice you can hit brakes, and dont have to worry that front end goes totally bottom

more after trac day !

Second your post. Front Wilbers springs are outstanding with the specified SAE 7.5 oil grade. As to the rear suspenders, after 3 years of countless adjustment efforts on my part (and with the help of a local suspension expert), I regret to report they remain way too stiff compression damping-wise. As a matter of fact, I took them off this morning and replaced them with Australian-sourced IKON units. And, lo and behold, my elderly spine no longer seems to be the FIRST shock absorber to report for duty:eek:

How are they roadholding-wise, meaning fast curves (at times somewhat bumpy) with pegs hugging the asphalt? (my riding style). I don't know yet. But I'll sure try them out as soon as it stops raining. And report. Best. Jamie:)

Three "ayes" will make it a quorum. I use Wilbers front and rear, and they make for an excellent handling R3. My rears were set up by Wilbers precisely for my riding weight and style... aggressive. Yes, they are stiff, but this is what I want for my aggressive style. Has anyone seen my chicken strips? I can't seem to find them anywhere. :D

Yes also Wilber factory set up in my rear suspension, But we make 3 set order in the same time, and after we got shipment we open the box and there is no marks , in those box . 3 differend drivers and 3 different wheight 85, 98 and 110 kg..

So I took phone call in the factory and ask how we know, diference about those rear suspension boxes...

 factory said no broblem. because rocket is so heavy bike . you all have same set up:eek: i am wery disappointed. so it is only marketing..... no difference att all

also in order we give them info , about riding style.... but same set 3 times

Same disappointing discovery here, Fin, although almost 3 years after the fact:(. Like you, I had replied to their pre-purchase questionnaire. My weight (I sure am a lightweight @ 70 kilos) , riding style (solo and sporty) and whatever their third question was... (choice of either blue or black springs?)

And, in hindsight, what I eventually got was a pair of suspenders for an off-highway truck. Initially, I thought I had to mastermind the countless setting possibilities as defined in German. I tried them all, with the help of a local suspension expert. And that did NOT work. Then, I thought they would settle over time. "Over time" being 30'000 k's. They have NOT.

They are OFF my Rocket as of this morning. And I am pis*** off.

Send them to Klaus Hueneke. He will make the neccessary adjustments for your weight and style. He was "Wilbers USA", but no more. He had a falling out with Herr Wilber over having to re-adjust every set from factory... for very little profit.
