Which exhaust? Need some advice
Brute, the best exhaust packages available to date measured by both performance and quality of construction are from Carpenter Racing in Berlin, NJ and CES in Australia. I am a Carpenter advocate (Buy American!) for a number of reasons, however those here that are more conversant with the Aussie alternative, replete with both real and perceived the pluses and minuses of either or both options, will be along presently to bring you further "up to speed".

Great thank you. I looked at a carpenter exhaust , loved the sound but didnt like the cone shape.
 
A megaphone is the most efficient means to dump hot exhaust gases from these machines, but that is not a overly limiting factor. You can fit all sorts of other exhaust pipes past the header and collector assemblies, but they will adversely effect power output to varying degrees. For some, that is not the end of the world, hence chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and more alternatives.
