Where is everyone getting their insurance from..and are they insisting on a tracker?

Ah right. I've not insured anything that valuable so I don't know. I've never been asked to fit a tracker. Will it be garaged? To be fair, if I had one of those I would probably pay for a tracker anyway

Hi
ADRIAN FLUX INSURED MY ROCKET WITH STANDARD IMMOBILISER.
I DO HAVE DATAG ON MINE QITH SMART WATER

currently i'm with carol nash and they won't insure unless i have a tracker fitted, I tried bennets and they are saying the same. I really don't want to waste the whole day phoning various ins companies, so I'm hoping someone can help

Cause I ride like a hooligan!
Had a tracker on my car once. Just slightly pressing brake firmly counted against you, with 3 beeps from device. I was cursing in my car.
so if some yeahoo pulls out in front of you u should take your time in stopping so as not to upset the ins co.

A tracker in the UK is a LoJack. I would never go for a 'black box' as we call what you refer to. I didn't know this could even get a black box for a motorcycle. Anyways I just use compare the meerkat or similar and get insurance from whatever broker.

i make sure i disable them before i rode test a vehicle

Yeah, I actually got a metal shed called protect-a-bike:

I wanted both the tracker and the shed as some insurance companies give you quite a discount so I thought I'd give it a try. We'll see what discount I do get when I actually buy - the bike should be here any day now - just waiting for that call to go get Wernher (that's his name - this one's a boy due to the incredible thrust!). The dealer said I got the last one hence the reason I've not got it yet...
