With all the talk about diesel motorcycles, and how europe is in love with diesel fuel. When will Triumph jump the coral, and retail a motorcycle before Kawi retails the Army bike to the general public.

I read an article a short time ago about a guy who had put a Diesel Smart Car engine
into a Triumph Tiger 955 i think it was.
He made a pretty decent job of it.
As you would expect..he was getting great fuel figures and it pulled like a train
There was some talk that BMW were seriuosly looking at a Diesel bike.

They have the. Torque of diesel so they are half way there already

Due to the 26/1 compression ratio they tend to be quite heavy, guess it would work in a cruser/toring style bike! would have a big tank range.
