I found these to work very well in getting into the crevices and areas not for fingers. I've used with waterless car wash, e.g. Optimum No Rinse, and the like without scratching and had nice results. Spray on first if really dirty. Mine are just usually dusty. I throw them in the washer along with my micro fibers to always use a clean one.

I use one of these (the long handled off-set one). Non-abrasive and gets into the tightest spots in the wheels and around the brake discs.
