What will I think of next:)

skirt

I have no idea's yet I haven't even gave it a second look yet nothing has came in mind yet boths side are different because of the kick stand ,maybe just keep it simple might be the best

back spoiler

ok you guys I had a brain storm and did this today what do you guys think?
The back part I'm thinking of leaving it open as a vent so air could still go through and that back spoiler will rap around back tire and because of angle I made that the bottom of the spoiler is still level with bottom of engine.
It looks really cool on.
Could you guys visualize?

bottom side fiberglassed and filled

I shaped it a bit more and I fiberglassed it and filled it on the weekend.
This is it so far.
I'm still debating if I'm going to make it straight on the bottom and curve against the back tire like John suggested or keep it tappered like it is .
I just think if I do make it straight on the bottom it might look too big.

Bolt that puppy on there and lets have a look then Cane.
What I'd really like to see is your new radiator shroud bolted on and that too on the back end, so we can see the whole package.
I realize it ain't finished or painted yet, but that don't matter.
If we could see it all together, then maybe we could give you some input.

Kinda like my back fender, the first guy I took it to had no idea what I wanted, and thats how it turned out, not what I wanted.
The second guy had an idea of how I wanted it and it was closer.
Now he's fine tuning it so it's exactly like I wanted it.

It's your vision, so until you get it on there, we're kinda in the dark.
That being said,
I like what you've done so far.

xhdskip, I am going to prime it some time this week and I would like to paint it black I hope to have it done before the week end.
I'll post some more pictures with it all together the way I have it all fit together it looks like all one piece.
when I paint it black it should give me a good idea to keep it plain or put some slits through it at the back where it tappers like I did with the spoiler.
When everything is put together I think it makes the Rocket really sleek and fast looking

kevin --great work ! looks very nice. let's see what it looks like painted and installed.
you must be a northwestern "busy as a beaver" guy w/ all the hard work you've put into these r3 mod projects. keep it up!!

Thanks jlm, Yes I wasn't sure of the look I wanted and I'm glade I didn't give up I drove my self crazy being so picky.
But I'm glad I was because I really think everything ties in really nice
I'm sure a really nice paint job would really make it stand out one day.
Wife wants to make sure I want to keep this bike and not spend money like crazy like I did with my other bike and lost a lot of money when I sold it and boutght this one
I keep on telling her I really like this bike.

interesting.....

cane,

will that be strong enough to withstand bumps, grinds and sudden unforeseen jarring from potholes and speed bumps?

I like it,but am leery of the above...
