Ok friends, I'm getting ready to jump into the remapping of my R3 standard and the tune posts have me boggled. I'm going to be running 06 R3 with TORS, Secondary's removed, Tri K&N, O2 removed. Can I retune my bike for this configuration with just the ECU source and a premade map, or do I have to get other tuning tools?

Not familiar with the ECU source but I assume its the same as Tuneboy. If that is the case, look for a similar tune in the trading tune section of the forum or wait for someone that has the same setup to respond. I have the same setup without the K&Ns but will be adding them soon so I'll be watching for a response also.

Since you already have the secondaries removed you could always just go with a PCIII and GiPro. It's less hassle to have dyno tuned since most shops are familiar with the equipment.

Take it to your dealer and pay him $17.. for a half hour and get the TOR tune installed.
After that do the 12 minute tune and you should be ok.
If you want "perfect" theres the freeware, dobeck, pc3, and tuneboy.
Your choice, your money..
let us know which way you go with it.

Right now there are not maps available for your needs using TuneECU. I might have something on an old disk that would get you started. Let me check through some old map files.
Even then, below 40% thottle your will need to do some mapping to suit your bike.
