What Did You Get For Cristmas?

Horrible news but glad your folks are ok. It's the loss of memories and collected items that may hit them hard. All the best mate

I got to enjoy all those begat with me and all those begat by me. Twas a terrific Christmas! The only hiccup was the realization that I was now the most senior of all!

@Boog , sorry to hear of your troubles.

Thought it was worthy of a post, this is something the 2017 model Mrs. R-III-R Turbo made and gave to me for Christmas; a photo story of the 2.5L stroker project

A very solitary Xmas was anticipated , but last job before finishing , I noticed a bike looking worse for wear in the customers barn . I expressed an interest and the customer told me that since buying the bike from new , he was attached to the bike as his late wife loved it . A couple days before Xmas, said customer rang me to say he was more than happy with the work I had done , then the bombshell , He said he had been thinking and if I showed the bike as much love as I show my others , and providing he could see it again and maybe ride it ? The bike was mine for free ! won't appeal to all , but these are rare as hens teeth here and restored , fetch a minimum of 5k . One owner, 6000 miles and 100% original . Happy Xmas!

Not exactly a present, per see, but I picked my side car rig back up from my son in law while we were there, he had it over a year, never got a license or registered it, l paid a $1100 bill for full service, carbs rebuilt, and new battery, and brought her home, I missed her, and perfect for the sand roads here.

Looks like a 1973? I had one very similar back in the day, Good luck!
