What did you do to your Rocket today?


Wow that chrome cover on the shaft is great. My Rocket came with the swing arm cover. I still have those front caliper covers here for your bike.


Also have the tank pads that I got at the same time. But don't think I will put on the Blue Rocket.

So get me an address for shipping the caliper chrome covers to give your bike a bit more chrome.
 

I love the pads and think they should come as standard.

The bigger center one has saved my tank from sure disaster with buckles and zippers.
 
Recent Tribal work:

Lowered tow hitch.
Added “S” bracket to lower tow ball another 3”. We had to drill a hole in the hitch and add a bolt to keep it from turning.

Completed Solar System Installation.

Purged yet more crap to fit everything in/on the trailer.
Started applying new TLC Black Ice ceramic coating to trailer & bike. It needs a week to cure then I’ll add a coat of regular TLC.
Fixed blinker light wire and rerouted as my tire was hitting them in pot holes and frost heave bumps.
 
Went for a short 300 km ride with a work mate to Hamner Springs HAD lunch and rode home.

Saw an MX5 on the side of the road for sale and knew that my mate would want to stop and look at it.

Looked in my mirror and sure enough he was waving his arm above his head. Went back to look at it. And he didn't even buy it but did test drive it.

Spent a bit of time with my buddy Worzol yesterday. Worzol has a new 'R' model. He has just had the bike ceramic coated and wrapped. It came out nice altho there are a couple of spots they will tidy up. The front guard supports and the radiator shroud have been covered also but with a 1/2 inch strip left on the edges. He has about 3500 kms on her now and the rear tyre is getting close to the wear stripes...it seems to be wearing evenly tho.
 
I think he means strippable decals so you can change colors and stuff?
 
Its been sprayed with a ceramic clear over the paint work....clear wrap over the black and some black wrap over the silver on the guard supports and radiator shroud. The ceramic wax leaves the surfaces easier to clean. The black wrap is very close to to the 'Phantom Black' paint work so looks real nice.
The Fuel tank has 3m clear wrap all over.
