What did you do to your Rocket today?

Stopped at Ace Hardware and got a 10mm washer to tighten my loose mirror mount, worked GREAT. Then took her on a 280 mile trip from Pasco WA up to Yakima, down to Goldendale, then back to Pasco via backwoods county roads. Even found a stretch of gravel that I nervously navigated.

My area I assume? Low to mid 80's mostly, nice cool mornings. You should come out Saturday, or we should connect and meet halfway and do a few miles together. I'd LOVE to have you teach me about my bike, I know SO little about it, but I'm learning.
 
Sadly Sat/Sun are off limits for me this weekend, wife time.

I will find time to head out that direction again, I love Chinook pass.
 
Finished my 13 day 3,100 mile Florida-to-New York Cross-Country ride only to find that friends nor family nor neighbors finished staining my house while I was out riding. MO-FO's!!

After a week of that manual labor $hiittte I cleaned myself up and did a nice 5 day 850 mile ride across the Adirondack Mountains to my home town for 4th of July fireworks and my High School Reunion.

I rode to the "Grand Canyon of the east" in Pennsylvania today - 200+ miles.

It was a great month.

I also contacted the company that printed my new headlight snake eyes and complained about the quality.
They had me send photos of the removed and destroyed decals and are printing new more vibrant ones now for free.
Now thats good customer service!

For me oil change and install the silly stepper motor in the morning . Then off for a ride. Just a day ride.Point and go.

SPLUTTER SPLUTTER CHOKE

I just splurted my coffee allover my keyboard.

I thought you had sworn off that stepper motor and it had been consigned to history, now it is just 'silly' and your going to fit it.

Well it was a hundred dollar part and it has been in my top dresser door for a bit. Figure why not. Hermy's said fuc% you. You bought it it is yours. They know what a joke it is. One of the folks there was laughing at me when i asked if i could send it back and get a refund. Figure i will run it until it screws up again.
