It's about the ones you buy. Nothing you are buying at the box stores will perform as they claim. But if you buy from a commercial contractor ... Usually 5x the cost they will last approximately. Great video veratasium did on this about the lightbulb scam and planned obsolescence.
Inexpensive LEDs are a stupid purchase.
In this case you do kinda get what you pay for.
I just wish there was a way to discern the flycrap from the pepper.
The fact that they have multiple LEDs wired in SERIES, makes them super prone to burnouts. Back when they were $5 per bulb I'd cut them open, find the burned LED and bridge it with solder. Why can't they wire them in parallel like they finally figured out with Christmas lights?

Found a front fender rail kit for my 2010 touring on eBay, so I snagged it. Don't know when I'll get in put on, if ever.
A few days later a "140 Cubic Inch" oil tank badge popped up and I grabbed it right then. I now have three different ones I can swap out when I get bored of one. I have the "Rocket III" one on now.
