West Aussie Bushfires

I am glad everyone from here seams to be ok, still devastating for those involved though I hope they get the help they need to recover quickly. It's even hot down here today it's 39.8 right now.

Appreciating summer in Tassie this week Flyreels. About time the warm arrived after such a ****e spring. Enjoying fanging around without eighteen layers on. Go well while it lasts.

I see that athlete's are dropping like flies at the Aussie Open...

Not many activities more unsuited to 45degree heat (that's over 110F) than tennis on a hard surface inside a close arena. All that running around with no breeze, baking sun and reflected heat. No wonder people get sick. Only marginally better would be watching it.

Heard that they claim a large number of the bushfires in the Southern states have been deliberately lit. Can understand most crimes that people commit .. crimes of passion .. desperation stick-ups etc etc but lighting random fires is another story. Know what I reckon should be done with anyone caught. The damage to homes , heartache it causes and risks the fire fighters take it's just beggers belief that anyone would light fires on purpose.

There are quite a bit more flaming nutjobs in this nation of 317 million souls than in yours with just 23,500,000.

Hi Guys,

I was just looking at for news pictures of my bike on the net and came across your thread so I thought you might like to see what a Rocket 3 Touring looks like after a BBQ. Unfortunately lost the house and bike in Sundays fire in Western Australia.
Hope everyone in the Eastern States is okay has been a very hot and dangerous week across Oz.

Bike was a 2010 Touring, and I had been slowly adding pieces so that it looked like the one in the second photo except all black.

Cheers
Campbell
