West Aussie Bushfires
So hopefully there's no Owners that live up in the hills then ? News reporting the full extent of damage and losses , tragic.
 
Been watching it. Looks pretty bad but it seems everyone has been accounted for. Loss of property is extensive though.
Got temps over the ton here for the rest of the week and the smell of smoke in the air already. Adelaide and Melbourne going to be hottest hitting 110F tomorrow.
 
Had a paddock at Mount Helena when we lived there around 1973-4. The fire maps today show that the fires got almost to the block next door. Would not have been nice being there.....

Nice place in spring ,but in summer its a death trap up there. I looked at block a up in Toodjay last year but the fire risk is so **** obvious in those gullies. The neighbours were still living in a shed after the last fire which burnt them out
