Hello all! Checking in here from the Motor City! Just sold my Aprilia Tuono last night and thinking of getting a R3 or Thunderbird (I'm a bigger guy so I'm thinking the R3 will "fit" me better?)

I have a line on a 2012 R3 for sale locally with 3xxx miles for $10,000. Is that a fair price? Is there anything I need to watch out for on a 2012?

Thanks in advance for any help with my potential new purchase!

Hello @Duffer and @froman6, welcome from Virginia. On that 2012, if it is an R3R it should have ABS. But if its an R3T, it won't. Other than that, ride it hard and long...

Hello, Inam Russ from New Jersey USA. I have two bikes Ducati Diavel and of course R3. Love this site. Ride safe, brothers.

Yes, great roads you have up there, once you get off the beaten path! Down south we have lovely flat and straight roads with lots of pot holes and sand everywhere, so are tires only wear down in the middle!
