Weeping

Ok I was not aware of the mileage issue I though it has just gone thru the cam chain rattle repair. Don't get me wrong I would by th gasket if I did not have one in stock on my shelf as it good get screwed up anyway, but if it is good I run with it.

Gaskets are on order

I ordered the gaskets from my dealer today. They should be in next week. The last time I placed a order with Bikebandit I thought my first Social Security check would be there first. Thanks one and all for all of the input. As always the help and advice offered on this site concerning diagnosing a problem or offering solutions is amazing. I will give the pertaining sections in the manual a good read through before beginning and stock the garage frig. There are worst ways to spend the best part of a Saturday. You could be shopping for flower garden plants with your wife.

Fixed Her

Just FYI to anybody else who has this problem. Grey oil resistant Permatex and 24 hours to cure. Good as new. I have knocked out about three or four hundred miles since the application and dry as a popcorn fart. I just applied a small amount right along the seam and removed the excess with my finger. The Dealer never ordered the parts anyway which is another story. Please anyone located in the Eastern Virginia area, take my advice, avoid Colonial Cyclesports Inc. in Colonial Heights, Va. I have bought two brand new bikes from them and their customer service just plain sucks.
