Dragon Rider

More info on quick release please..

I don't mind the tourpak look if I'm taking a long trip,,,,I just don't want to cart that ugly thing around all the time and I don't want to spend an hour taking it on and off each time I want it. I ride my touring often without the windshield or the rear rack and love it that within a minute or two I can have it ready for my wife to hop on for a ride. Soooo, what I had been planning was an adaptor made to utilize the stock rack quick release mechanism.....and that would involve a bunch of work to make it look like I want it to. Do any of you know about this Noone adaptor and what its all about?

Makes perfect sense....

LOL I think Noone was supposed to be "no one".

Exactly right,,,cause NO-ONE does
I did find a line on a used touring rack tho that may be perfect for the retrofit and still give me a quick-release tourpak. Alls well that ends well!!

(chuckles) Yea...but really an adapter shouldn't be hard to do. Are you going to use the Triumph quick release rack?

Time is the factor.....

During the summer I just don't have time to spend fabbin my own stuff. If this used Triumph quick release comes thru, I can make it happen quickly. The added benefit is the triumph release works, works quickly and can be locked for added security. For me to fab something of equal or better quality, then have it chromed, we now have TIME into it. I don't know about others on this forum, but after a 12 hour day in this stinkin heat I'm grabbin a beer, not headin to the shop

PS: Village under water again,,,,second time in 7 years (to the exact day, 28th of June). All ok here,,I'm on high ground, but no gas locally
