You will also notice the outlet on the TORS is a much larger diameter ,if you can get your hands on a exhaust crossover box (that big box under the bike) delete pipe the exhaust note will be much nicer
That seems like a waste of money considering the box is empty. Is there any additional benefit to replacing the cross over box, it isn't very heavy and it does not seem to impede exhaust flow.
There is no visual difference between the pipes except for the fact that the diameter of the outlet hole is quite larger then the stock ones. Thats it!

Rick, whilst the box is "empty" it does have a very convoluted, twisty path internally, not at all "Free Flowing"
If we were both on a M/C taking a road as this is laid out, you take the exit to the R/H pipe, I'll take the exit to the L/H pipe.
I'll wait for you out the back
Cool...can you make it in chrome and can I take the crossover box off and use it use it with just the standard silencers until I get around to buying a set of tors?? I really like that single exhaust I saw pictured on a roadster. Almost like a megaphone. Would it be more efficient than the dual exhaust? Has anyone ever put this on a Touring?
I have Tors with the crossover on my Roadster...had them on my 2014 as well. In my opinion, the crossover is more freeflowing and helps with the beautiful tone coming out the back...very deep rumble and I also get a lot of good comments from riders who have been following, especially when I accelerate away. Very well worth it IMHO...cant wait to get Pauls 2 inch headers...(ahem).
