Vibrations?

Thanks I’m less ignorant now, but not much. I’ve got the same bike and it does buzz more than the old one. The Penner tune might have improved it some.
 
Yes, When I first rode the bike after a couple of days of back roads close to home and fairly low speed I was pissed at the buzzing as you described. I didn't expect it and didn't think it should be there. But the first time I went with a group and at higher speeds I calmed down a bit. The bike is fun and the buzzing is considered normal so I'm now ok with it but wish it was more refined of course.
 
Rode again today.
I dont have many miles on her yet, im still getting used to the bike.
Yes, its not glassy smooth at 4k rpms like it is below that but it isn't bad or anything.
Its just the character of the bike.
I imagine they're all basically just like this one so thats fine.
 
I don't know why I didn't mention this in my other posts on vibrations and it may not be a big deal although for me it helped with the vibration. After buying my Rocket Gt and having it a few months I noticed my right hand getting numb after 40 or so miles of riding. I bought a pair of cheap grip puppies off Amazon to see if they would help. They are thick enough to keep the vibration down but not too thick to keep the grip warmers from working with the Grip Puppies on. They work great for me. They also keep my hands from going numb and I remember when I put them on thinking it's from the less vibration I feel in my hands even though my vibration was relatively small. It's worth a try as it may bring the vibration down a few notches to make it bearable. I feel nothing in my hands or arms anymore even though as I stated it was relatively minor before I bought them. Just a thought.

I thought about buying them, but not because of the vibrations, but because I was used to the thicker handles on the previous bike. I haven't gotten around to it since the summer I owned the GT. I was a bit worried about the heating insulation being too much. Could you please send me a link to yours? Thank you.
