I'm having an issue with my left mirror. It vibrates so much I can barely see whats behind me. This is generally not an issue on the open road, but is a bit of a problem in city or traffic situations. I've tried tightening it down with the Allen Key to no avail. Any ideas or suggestions?

I've had the same problem on my '06 right off of the showroom floor. It's not bad, but it does blur more unless I'm holding the left handgrip firmly. I'd say the problem is in the mirror body itself. I just look out the right side if I need a good steady look to see if smokey is sneaking up on me.

My stock "Mickey Mouse Ears" were worthless over 3000 rpm due to the vibration, I think the stalks are too long. I solved most of the problem by replacing them with smaller, lower billet mirrors and larger bar ends. The thicker, shorter stalks are a much more stable platform for the mirrors. I went with Kuryakin convex turn signal mirrors and Throttlemeister cruise control for the heavier bar ends. Like I said, it didn't cure the entire problem, but it made the mirrors usable again under 90mph. If R3's vibrate that badly out of the box, I can't imagine how Hardly owners use theirs at all.

I replaced my stock mirrors with new ones from Triumph and had the vibration. I tightened tham but still had the problem. I found one small lock washer on the ground and put it on and the vibration went away. Hope this helps.

On my 2010 Roadster, I have not experienced your problem. In fact, from the very first ride, I was more than amazed that I could see behind me very clearly. I assumed that with so much mass moving, they would be worthless. I haven't had a problem at any RPM. Not sure if that's typical of the Roadster or is I just got lucky. Either way, I'm replacing them soon just because I don't like the look of them. Maybe I'll list them on here to sell since they must be from a good run.

Mirors are not required on Hardley's because there is nothing to see in back of you. Everyone is in front of you......
How so very true!
Flip, got the grill insert today ... looks great (well, it will once the adhesive washes off, LOL)
Nice packaging.
Too hot to jump into it today, I'll take her apart when it rains later in the week.
Thanks.
