USB Charger install

I just got a 2015 RT3 and I need to install a power cord. Where is the plug that you're referring to? Do you have any decent links for cleanest way to install the USB and get it up to the handle bars?

It is on the infill panel behind the motor on left side. If f not installed there is a hot lead you can use to pull power to front of bike. Not sure about a 2015 but early Tourings also had a lead to install a GPS. It was under right front of tank. I don't remember if it was hot or switched.
 
I have a 2011 R3T and I am also interested in where would be a good spot to mount A USB port for my phone mount. It would be nice if it was somewhat discreetly placed.

Did you have any issues with finding the correct power source wire to connect it to?
