Does anyone know if the rear shocks for the new R3T the same as the standard Rocket? If not what size are they?

Thanks...

Anddean

(We have a blown seal here)

Customer Services at Triumph state that the Touring has longer rear shock at 320.2 mm where the standards are 316mm,they are also softer than the standard shocks also...

Also the seals are non-replaceable so the whole shock has to be junked

Hope that is of help and sorry for the delay, couldn't get through and none of the dealers I phoned knew anything

Customer Services at Triumph 01455251700 and ask to be put through

Stellar job Billy, we owe you. As is often the case, the problem is sometimes right in front of your nose, but not obvious at first. They put three plugs in the tire, some more air and the handling seems to have improved. Your response which was intantaneous for us, (we posted at midnight, got up at 6:00 AM and knew from your post immediately that we need not waste time or energy arranging transportation of any old R3 Standard shocks) saved us a MOUNTAIN of wasted time and energy. For more on our morning, see my thread, " Why I Love to ride Triumph".

Billy - many thanks for helpful advice - much appreciated. As it turned out the problem was tyre related ... other info. will follow I'm sure ... but as a result, after many adventures the rescue party - great blokes all, arrived back in Monterey at 1130pm...!!

Thanks anyway...

Total of EIGHT (8) plugs in the tire before they towed in for a new tire. Stubborn bunch, but thats what it takes to do an Iron Butt!
