Update: Windshield

I been using the tall screen for the last 1000 miles or so and find that it works very well even though at 5'11" Im looking through the windshield instead over it like I prefer. I know I will change to the stock windshied once the weather gets above 60.

I find it very easy to see through and it creates a nice quiet pocket of air. Its so quiet that Ive removed the faceshield from my helmet.

I'm 5' 11 and have a stock height Clearview. Sitting up straight I'm looking about 3" over the top of the screen but the wind goes over my helmet. A rock probably wouldn't. Slouching back against the backrest and I'm about eye level with the top of the screen.

I've got the factory screen on mine. Was REALLY glad I had it the other day. On the way home from work I didn't have my helmet on. I got pelted about three times before I could duck behind it as I ran thru a swarm of bees. The shield looks pretty disgusting and will need a good cleaning Friday.
