I recently made a bead breaker for removing the rear tyre at home before taking it to the shop for replacement.
They charge approximately Aus$50 to remove them in the same manner.

Thanks, but it's the Mojo Lever. One of the best tool purchases I've made. I got tired of shops charging so much and scratching up my rims.

Yes- here it is with my 2011 Roadster. Anytime I appear to be using strength/force (as seen here) it's because I'm not pushing the tire down into the center of the rim......
