Went to the dealer today to get a new rear tyre.

Took them 1 1/2 hours to get the job done :?
The main problem was to get the tyre of the rim!!
The machine couldn't handle it to well.
I dont see how some of you pull this off at home ??

Rear brake pads also needed replacement (7000km) ???

1 1/2 hrs , they will get faster , as they fit more rear tyres for you .

Thats low mileage for rear pads . Hows your fronts looking .

But be happy Vic. You couldt at least get a tyre..Im still waiting for my tire. The Danish dealer did not have a tyre in store!!..... Big chock...They do actully ride those big Rockets!!!!!

Sully, the fronts pads look like 1/3 used, 2/3 remaining, normal I would think.

ogmf, I ordered the tire 3 months ago, payed it and left it at the dealers,
I think he called my wife to tell, it was in, after 5 weeks or something ( I was abroad at the time).
My next one will be ordered when the one I got now has 3000km on it.

Vic: Wise decesion! I'm doing the same. Learned my lesson  (By the way...Still waiting. Tyre disappeared in germany on its way to denmark!!!)...

Is the tyre lost forever , or is it still coming .
Which country was the tyre coming from . :?:

Have not had probs getting tyres in the UK .

The tyre dealer told me today, that the tyre was disappeared some where in Germany!?! (It was ordered from Germany) and if he didnt get it today he wouldt ask them to send him a new one by express. So with a little luck a have my tyre first next week. Next weekend the annual British bike ralley is being held in Denmark and if i'm not able to participate due to a GD missing tyre I blow a fuse... big time!!! I think its alarming that these great bikes a getting sold every day...but no one in Denmark had figured out that it actylly use rubber tyres that need to be changed once in a while !!!!!
