Sold my Rocket need another...
Well I am planning a turbo build on my 06 this winter and I have some questions for you guys, I know I can do the mechanical parts and all the fab work, the part I need to know more about is the electronics to make it all work. I plan on using a garrett turbo from a saab 900 which has a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder, from their I am going to make my own hoses, plenum, exhaust and everything else. I have read that the boostisgood kit uses a tuneboy, pcIII and hub, what sensors will I need to replace or add and will I have to add bigger injectors, I am only shooting for around 6-7 psi and about 200hp, i will be doing the clutch springs and when money allows nevs lock up clutch. If anyone could give me some pointers on the electrical it would be greatly apprecitaed. Thanks in advance.

Stew if you 'only' want 200hp, why not go cam/piston route, it's simple & does not
have dangers of F/A, or the excessive heat from turbo/pipework.
You will not need lock up, just springs & mtc fibres work for me.

There are so many ways to get 200 hp that are not as hazardous as a turbo.

you got the stage 1 from Carpenter, IMFASTTOO where are you...?
I am in the process of adding the TTS supercharger which I hope will give more than 200..

If you are really into turbo, just for the turbo kick, you might want to talk to Parr aka "Nussekudden", a Swedish carbon fibre guy who has a rocket with just that, a turbo...

people here will route you in his direction I hope...

love to see some pics when you fab

I have found both Nev & Art to be very helpfull with performance products
Pistons & Cams could show close to 200 more will need headwork.
As your that side of the pond Carpenter would be a good first call
The potential for problems is greater with forced air
but monster torque is possible,
torque being the power to break things

I am not against doing the internals, i just figured i would be spending more money than if I fabbed my own turbo kit. Building my own kit will also require alot of dyno tuning which may put me right over the price of doing the internals. I'll email nev and figure it out from their, i'd rather go with him than carpenter anyway.
