TuneECU .... free tuning software

Was just talking with a linux programmer yesterday about connecting the rocket ecu to a smart phone and have a dashboard app written for it. Show your mpg's etc. in real time like a cars onboard computer.

after having uploaded the 20220 for the jars from this site (thanks dougl) I did a road test and sure enough there is more tabasco in the acceleration department actually it is really and nearly enough for my capabilities ,a bonus is less noticeable popping noise under deceleration. I have reached biking nirvana now!! thanks to dougl 20220
this weekend I attempt to make fiberglass fairing for the R3 standard

I finally got around to tinkering this evening as well. Bike seems to run quite a bit better (downloaded existing map and found my secondary butterflies were engaged in ALL gears!), I did however notice the distinctive aroma of a rich mixture coming from the exhaust in lower RPMs. I noticed that the map from dougl has the O2 sensor disabled, I have not bypassed mine. The question now becomes should I just enable it in the map or is it worthwhile to get the bypass kit? I understand what the thing is supposed to do but I've found that every model engine reacts differently to this setup, how does the Rocket do with/without the sensor?

How-to documentation coming soon now that I've got it all working. BTW the software works in Win7 with no issues.

For Sale: TuneECU cable. Don't ask, I somehow wound up with two.

If you're talking about the PCIII O2 sensor bypass, unchecking the box should do the same thing so don't bother buying one.

With the O2 sensor box checked, the ECU will go into closed loop in the lower TP and RPM range, using the O2 signal to determine the fuel. This will lean it out but if you have intake or exhaust mods, it will backfire in the pipes, although I think it runs smoother at the low end. That's why they use computers with fuel injection. You can add more fuel in the fuel tables at the lower end to get rid of the popping but the ECU will still adapt and lean it out. Unchecking the box disables this adapting and the fuel is determined only by what you have in the fuel tables.

Hi mate, Im game...can I get the cable to Australia?

Sorry, I'm in the US, it would cost more to ship than the cable is worth. Order one from the links earlier in this thread, they ship out of China and they don't charge for shipping, they charge US$16 for the whole deal.

Hi, this is my SkyDrive. Clear it is on the following page:

http://www.tomhamburg.net/TuneECU_En/Tune_List.htmlhttp://www.tomhamburg.net/TuneECU_En/Tune_List.html

Link for the download is included in the list. Just click on the Tune-number.

On new tunes, I would look forward to. The tunes can be sent to "tuneecu (at) tomhamburg (point) net".
I add this tunes in the tune- list.

BR, Tom
