I haven't been able to find any tires in the correct size that are rated any higher. And, having had the R3T just past 125 I'm not sure I'd want to go any faster. Unlike my BMW K1200RS which seemed to settle down at higher speeds, the R3T starts to feel a bit squirly up there.
That said, I don't like pre-set limits either. If that's what Wayne had to do to get Triumph to give him the stock tune then I understand. I suspect someone will find a way around it.
