Trouble Reaching Turn Signal Switch

Dang, you even had me trying out the clutch and indicator. I found with the lower palm of my hand rested on the grip I could still pull the lever in and out easily and have full control of my thumb on the indicator. Maybe a few squeezes on some balls will make your grip stronger. ( I am referring to those exercise/stress balls :p)

Mine are exercised and stressed occasionally....although not often enough.

So' I go out an try for myself,,,if my left hand is still capable, if you know what I mean ;).

Anyway everything is just right, engine thrumbing between the knees, good flat sole shoe stance, the red light brightly dropped to green and I swear the drivers of the vehicles behind me were breathless in anticipation of my dexterity.

And then it happened, I thought I would be getting nothing but praise (like we so often saw the athletes being praised at the Olympic Games, still fresh in my memory as some lanky woman was steaming down for the high jump)

What happened; It is unreliable to know what was actually said, peering and lip reading through my rear view mirror. But it looked like he said...stop f#kg with that switch. git that machine in gear an f#kg clear the road, we don't care which way..left, right, any damway.

Now I must admit, he did try to help. He so helpfully pointed out that I should not be using my thumb. He so exquisitely showed me his extended middle finger. Now, I know that aint goin to work!

Lesson learned. Never try thumbing the indicator at the stop light. And some drivers are a$$soles.

Yeah me too I checked and had no prob's so I come to the conclusion that either A)You got Small hands or B)I have Big ones
But at the end of the day it's a case of you should have already pushed your indicator switch before you start going down thru the gears or if stationary you should have engaged the indicator before putting into gear.... So there is No Problem at All if you are doing everthing Properly:cool:
