just wondeirn how the factory windshield is and how bad buffeting is

Installed Windvest's largest. Run bike to 130 and tucked behind it. Quite good with excellent strength. My bike is modified with rearsets from Rask.
 
I've got the Triumph Summer screen which is just right for me. I also think the big one is, as dickint says ugly.

Most of my riding is in town so I don't need the big job.

I'm 6ft and I use full face helmet I don't find the slip stream a problem, but then I guess its what your used to.
 
The Rocket that I test rode had the short screen on it and I couldn't stand the buffeting from the turballance :? , which I don't get from my stylish fly screen....I am planning to buy a taller windscreen, just for touring (long distances), do the after market ones fit the Triumph mounts that I have for my fly screen? :shock: As I know the Triumph screens do :twisted:
 
I have and like the Windvest 16 X 16. Windstream goes just through my helmet vents, but not in my face. I'm 6' 2"
 
I personally prefer a screen these days.
The more I ride with one, the more I appreciate it. ( I must be getting old I suppose, 'cause I used to hate them!)

I bought the Triumph summer screen, and even adjusted at the highest there is still buffeting. The wind hits the helmet at eye level
I like it at sub 75 m.p.h. and around town, just to keep the flies and muck off in summer. Remove the UK spec. rubber surround and it looks OK. Clean, and it almost dissapears.
JMHO.

I got the big touring screen from windvest. It fits right on the old Triumph summer screen mounts (you have to specify summer screen and it comes with the right holes), and is great for touring and/or rain.
 
I'm 5' 11" and like the roadster screen. All my helmet buffeting came from UNDER the screen so I made my own deflectors. They look like crap but work. Over the winter I will make up some decent ones. I won't be paying $240.00 CDN for a couple of little bits of plastic with four clamps!
 
i got memphis lowers for my america for around 80 buck. look good and brackets are fairly clean. might want to check them out
