Bennetts insurance company sent me an email the other day, I'm not entirely sure what I signed up for? Anyway, I ticked both boxes, one to ride the new Rocket and the other to ride my GT down the runway. So, weather permitting I'll be there

Well, if work doesn't get in the way (not looking like it will at the moment) and the weather, like you say, is acceptable, i'll be heading up there to cheer you on.

Probably going to pick up the M18 at the southernmost end and head towards Goole. M62 then B1228.
If you fancy hooking up for some the run up there, just shout....

Wanted to do this, but they want you to wear full leathers or 3/4 zipped, do they not get these are not race bikes, really pissed off with the terms

MmmYeah....Doesn't surprise me about that though.
Same as a typical track day anywhere in the UK, wouldn't you think?

Are you still planning to go?...or?...

Not buying leathers, so not worth it. I have the new storm 3 r, but as I’m still doing the breaking in, wanted to thrash one of their bikes.

Fair enough. I'm going up just for a ride out and watch for a while. Take in the atmosphere, so to say.
I've got no great wish to thrash my bike to that extent, but I know that for some folks taking part is pretty essential. Each to their own.
