Triumph tall windshield

I have a 2011 R3T with a tall Triumph windshield. I'm 6'2" tall and if I still smoked cigarettes I could smoke for sure at 80 mph and probably at 100 mph. The wind and noise is tremendously reduced with that windshield and the small clear lower wings that come with it.

I like to ride with as much protection in front of me as possible. The stock wind shield is too short for my liking.

Personally I have a 7Jurock mounted on my 07 Classic. 15 inch, smoke, flip no vent. Sits almost touching the top of the headlamps and it's slanted back as far as it can go. The top edge sits right below my line of sight. Flies well, solid. Most wind punishment at 70-80 mph, gone. Above that I tuck behind the shield. Ride with Bell 500 3/4 skull cap. My problem is that, when I approach a parking spot and look right in front of the bike, the flip produces a visual distortion. The smoky tint really looks cool but impairs the visibility through the windshield. Clear would be just fine.

On the Valkyrie, I have a straight Clearview with the vent. A little shorter than stock. Both shields are made of quality plastics and fit well. Both scratch just as easily. Don't take a dirty rag or paper to them or they will scratch. Rinse well before wiping with anything. It is better to have a dirty windshield than a scratched clean windshield. The vent is worth the extra 50$ Both companies carry the vent option. Both products, highly recommended and worth the $$. 7Jurock is less expensive.

Clear view is a great chose for replacement shield (no hardware) but be sure you give them your exact inches. I am 6'4" and went 24" high x 28" with a curve on top but I wanted 4" wider they only shipped 2" wider as the said that was correct for OEM. The " I wanted would have been better but 26 is ok.
