Triumph survey 12/8/15

I remember that contraption on the road way back when,,,,!!! two seater one behind the other at the same time as Isetta velam came out isetta velam - Google Search

Don't be knocking the Isetta. I owned one in high school. I finally had to sell it as the other kids in school wouldn't leave it alone. They kept turning it around with the door facing something to try and keep me from getting into it. It didnt work, as I use to leave the window ajar so I could pop it out of gear and push it back. **** them...they even stole my spinner hubcaps. It was fun for awhile though, but they just wouldn't leave it alone. Oh, and it had two wheels close together in back.

Yeah!! I remember them but never owned one we called them yaourt jar as they looked the part ,
I did use a vespa 400 though and that was considered quite the little bomb then (does that make us really old!)

Hi STRIPES,
Could you name and shame? I'm in McKinney, TX and would appreciate knowing who to avoid. Thanks.

I am reserved at publically throwing stones at them in view of their in scrupulous tactics they have already used on me to gouge. THEN they had the nerve to call back a few weeks later to say they had underbilled me and wanted more money! When I asked for the money back that they charged me for unnecessary work, he started calling me names and badmouthing my company. I then told him the call was recorded. I am debating on sending the audio file anonymously to their corporate office. Still livid.

I would say yes to the old! 69 for me next month. Always wanted a Moped from Sears. Vespa was cool...Lambretta as well....one of my friends rode a Cushman Eagle. I was riding around on a Ariel 500 Redhunter Single. I spent as much time making parts for it in my machine shop class as I did riding it. Was always making that little spring loaded pointed button that use to keep it from going past the gears in that Burman Gearbox. My first hand me down motorcycle. I learned a lot about fixing bikes back then.

Thanks, but I be really after something I DON'T have to work on too much.
And . . . $40 large is like motor home money, not motorcycle.
Bull, You are probably too far away but I am taking the trike Roadster back to Eurocyle to give them 1 last chance. If they dont fix it I have another Triumph shop that guarantees success in Plano. Assuming it is successful, we are selling it. 2011 R3R low miles w Morotrike kit. The kit was 14K. I would deal.

Hi Stripes,
OK, I understand.

If the Plano dealer your looking at is European Cycle Sports on Avenue K, they're my regular shop where I purchased my 2009 standard and they do all the work I either don't have time to do, or can't do myself. They got a new Service Manager about a year ago who's good and I've never had a problem with them. They have an R3 Tourer trike on the floor at the moment so I assume (!) they're familiar with them.

Hey bud, I appreciate your offer, but me thinks I would go the reverse trike set up for improved handling.
Besides, your issues have kinda scared me off the Rocket Trike.
I am VERY sorry and disappointed for all your troubles.
Merry Christmas!!!

You might wish to make sure Texas is a one party consent state before sending that recording, Amigo.
Hate to see you open yourself up for a law suit.

The trike kit is no problem. The electrical problems are the same ones indigenous to Triumph. I have three models. All three have and continue toexperience the usual issues. Of late, experiencing one cylinder running flat dead until it warms up.
