At a time of gloom and doom in all things financial its good to see that Triumph have increased sales and profits for the year ending 30th June 2011. With Governments' of all sorts of nations undecided whether austerity or growth is the right thing a bit of financial good news is welcome.

Increased sales by 7% to 48,684 motorcycles, revenues up 11% to 345 million pounds and profit up to 22.3 million pounds. Now employ 1600 people and has a market share of 6% in the global market for motorcycles of 500cc and above. And make the best bike of all.

Makes me almost proud to be British....(almost)....Ron
